MINORS (League Ages 7-8-9) SPRING AND FALL SEASONS
Little League Minor League Division is a Minor League division comprised of all 8 and 9 year old registered players and (as needed) some 7 year old players as determined during the league’s annual tryouts. The purpose of the division is to develop player’s skills and abilities for future play in the AAA or Major Divisions. Games are played competitively and scores are kept during the game, but seasonal standings are not maintained. The emphasis on this division should not be winning each and every game of the regular season, but rather, in developing and helping to improve all players’ skills and interest in future play. Managers are strongly encouraged to develop as many pitchers and catchers through practice and game time experiences as possible.
