Our Annual Parade and Opening Day Ceremonies have been rescheduled for Saturday, June 16th in conjunction with Armed Forces Day. We'll be grilling burgers and dogs provided by the 99 Restaurant & Pub and team photos will be held throughout the afternoon. A rain date of Sunday, June 17th is planned.
PARADE & CEREMONIES
We will begin assembling at 8:30 AM in the lot behind Amcomm Wireless in the Center of town. Parking is available in the lot and can be accessed from Old Worcester Road. Players and coaches will begin marching at 9:00 AM, heading up Main Street to Center Field for a brief ceremony. Once the players make their way on to the field, we encourage all guests to watch the ceremony in foul territory on the first or third base side of the field (this will give you a better view than behind the fence in the typical spectator area). The ceremony will be taking place at pitcher's mound.
PARKING
There will be NO parking at the Center Field complex (with the exception being the elderly or handicap). Due to the amount of kids in attendance, this is to address safety concerns. You can park in the lot where we meet to march, or at the elementary school across Memorial Field. Please do not park at the library.
ARMED FORCES DAY
In tribute to our Armed Forces, throughout the day we will be recognizing all Veterans in attendance. Before our game, we will be announcing the lineups of each team and we encourage any friend or relative of a player to accompany the player on the field for the announcement.
**In order to properly recognize our Veterans, please email your coach the name, branch of military and relationship to player of any Veteran that is interested in participating in the pregame announcements.**
TEAM PICTURES
Team Pictures will be taken between 10am -12pm and a schedule will be sent soon to let you know where & when your team pictures will be.
